Title: | A deployment model of an OFDM based broadband wireless access network | Authors: | Kailasam, P. Chew, Y.H. Yeo, B.S. |
Issue Date: | 2006 | Citation: | Kailasam, P., Chew, Y.H., Yeo, B.S. (2006). A deployment model of an OFDM based broadband wireless access network. IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference 2 : 808-812. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The problem of finding the minimum number of base stations (BSs) required to provide full network coverage in a point-to-multipoint OFDM based fixed broadband wireless access network is investigated. We model this as a binary integer-programming problem (BIP) and use an efficient branch and bound algorithm to solve the problem. We also provide a design approach to determine the minimum number of BSs required when the traffic demands at all subscriber stations (SSs) are varying over a day. © 2006 IEEE. | Source Title: | IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/129494 | ISBN: | 0780393929 | ISSN: | 15502252 |
