dc.description.abstract3D visualization algorithms such as Surface Tracking, Marching Cubes and ray causing can reconstruct 3D images from volume data such as CT and MRI and have been used for medical applications. In this paper we present some of our work to further improve these popular algorithms so that the resultant algorithms are more efficient.
