dc.description.abstractPoly(4-vinylpyridinium) p-toluenesulfonate is used as an immobilized catalyst for the hydrolysis of tetrahydropyranyl ethers. This method is mild, efficient and convenient, giving the corresponding products in good to excellent yields and purity.
