Abstract: Experiment provides the most convincing justification of numerical studies. A frequency selective surface (FSS) with Type-2 gangbuster array is fabricated and measured. The measurement results agree well with numerical results. An FSS with regular γ-directed dipole array is also fabricated and measured. The bandwidth of the former is observed much wider than that of the latter. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
