A pump beam with l=405 nm, focused into a type II PPKTP crystal, is down-converted to obtain signal and idler beams; their frequency can be tuned via the temperature of the crystal. By changing the beam waist inside the crystal, we determine the optimal focusing parameters for our source. We observe that weak focusing results in large pair to single ratio (efficiency). © 2011 IEEE.||Source Title:||2011 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe and 12th European Quantum Electronics Conference, CLEO EUROPE/EQEC 2011||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/115460||ISBN:||9781457705335||DOI:||10.1109/CLEOE.2011.5942760|
