Issue Date: | Dec-2011 | Citation: | Poh, K.K.,Teo, S.G.,Tay, E.L.W.,Yip, J.W.L. (2011-12). ECGs of structural heart disease: Part 1. Singapore Medical Journal 52 (12) : 855-859. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a useful but imperfect investigation in the diagnosis and possible follow-up of structural heart disease such as ventricular hypertrophy. Different ECG criteria with different sensitivity and specificity are available to aid the detection of left or right ventricular hypertrophy. Subsequent echocardiography can help in the quantification of ventricular mass and identification of the aetiology. | Source Title: | Singapore Medical Journal | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/115074 | ISSN: | 00375675 |
