dc.description.abstractWe demonstrate dispersion monitoring through WDM systems by injecting RF-modulated ASE and measuring RF phase shifts. This technique does not require transponder modification and can monitor the entire WDM band, irrespective of channel presence. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
