dc.description.abstractIn this study, the computer modelling of hard disk drive (HDD) disk-spindle system was attempted to examine the dynamic performance under various operating conditions. Simulated results show that unbalanced magnetic pull (UMP) has a significant effect on the vibration behaviours of the disk-spindle system.
