Keywords: | Higher order cumulant Match-filter Multi-path propagation Time of arrival (TOA) estimation |
Issue Date: | 2001 | Citation: | Liu, Y.,Wang, S.-X.,Liang, Y.-C. (2001). TOA estimation based on higher-order cumulant. Xitong Fangzhen Xuebao/Acta Simulata Systematica Sinica 13 (3) : 334-336. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A novel method of TOA estimation of multi-path signals based on higher-order cumulant is presented in this paper. Firstly, the received signals pass through the match-filter, then the frequency domain de-convolution are used to covert the time delay estimation problem to an estimation of frequencies of complex sinusoids. Then the Gaussian noises are refrained effectively and TOA of multi-path signals are estimated by the use of the higher-order cumulant. Finally, simulation demonstrates that this approach can effectively estimate the TOA. | Source Title: | Xitong Fangzhen Xuebao/Acta Simulata Systematica Sinica | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/112303 | ISSN: | 1004731X |
