Title: | Performance of queue in impaired wireless channel | Authors: | Kong, P.Y. | Issue Date: | 24-Oct-2002 | Citation: | Kong, P.Y. (2002-10-24). Performance of queue in impaired wireless channel. Electronics Letters 38 (22) : 1342-1343. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1049/el:20020957 | Abstract: | Conventionally, queucing analysis is performed assuming the server has a fixed service rate independent of time. If a wireless channel is the server, the service rate becomes a time-varying function due to propagation impairments. A model to quantify the performance of a queue with respect to such an impaired wireless channel is developed. Comparisons against simulation results show the model is accurate. | Source Title: | Electronics Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/111685 | ISSN: | 00135194 | DOI: | 10.1049/el:20020957 |
