ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/LMWC.2004.827104 | Abstract: | The perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary condition (ABC) is extended to truncate the boundary of left-handed materials in the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) simulation. The unixial material parameters are given in the frequency domain, and discretized in the FDTD update procedure by means of the Z-Transform technique. The effectiveness of the PML is demonstrated by numerical results. | Source Title: | IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/111467 | ISSN: | 15311309 | DOI: | 10.1109/LMWC.2004.827104 |
