dc.description.abstract	Homaloptera parclitella, new species, from the Malay Peninsula, differs from H. orthogoniata, from Borneo, in having two dark brown saddle blotches on dorsum (vs. three) as well as possessing more lateral, predorsal and caudal peduncle scales. Homaloptera orthogoniata is redescribed from type and fresh material; and a lectotype is designated. © 2005 by Verlag Dr. Friedrich Pfeil.
