Crustaceana 82 (1) : 121-123. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1163/156854008X367133||Abstract:||Dang & Ho, in 2007, described a new genus and species of freshwater crabs, Dalatomon soni, based on material collected from southern Vietnam in 2005. It is clear that Dalatomon Dang & Ho, is identical with Kempamon found by Yeo & Ng in 2007, and is accordingly synonymized. With regard to the type species, Dalatomon soni Dang & Ho, this was described on the basis of three males and one female from Dalat City, Lamdong Province, in southern Vietnam. On the basis of their diagnosis and figures, D. soni bears a very close resemblance to Kempamon loxophrys. The form of the male first pleopod (G1) of Dalatomon soni is very similar to that of Kempamon loxophrys except that the dorsal lobe is slightly more produced and more rounded.||Source Title:||Crustaceana||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/100401||ISSN:||0011216X||DOI:||10.1163/156854008X367133|
