Title: | Nylon-linamarase electrode for rapid determination of linamarin | Authors: | Yeoh, H.-H. | Issue Date: | Oct-1993 | Citation: | Yeoh, H.-H. (1993-10). Nylon-linamarase electrode for rapid determination of linamarin. Biotechnology Techniques 7 (10) : 761-764. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1007/BF00152627 | Abstract: | An enzyme electrode was constructed using cassava leaf linamarase covalently linked via polyethyleneimine to Hybond-N nylon. The nylon-enzyme electrode response was Nerstian for linamarin range of 0.1 to 20 mM. A steady state reading could be obtained within 4 to 6 mins. The nylon-enzyme discs could be reused. Compared to the previously reported enzyme electrode prepared by entrappment of linamarase in ENT-4000 prepolymer resins, the nylon-enzyme electrode gave faster response and could save analysis time by 60%. © 1993 Chapman & Hall. | Source Title: | Biotechnology Techniques | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/99713 | ISSN: | 0951208X | DOI: | 10.1007/BF00152627 |
