Title: | Slicing functional components from data-intensive business programs | Authors: | Tan, Hee Beng Kuan Ling, Tok Wang |
Issue Date: | 1996 | Citation: | Tan, Hee Beng Kuan,Ling, Tok Wang (1996). Slicing functional components from data-intensive business programs. Proceedings - IEEE Computer Society's International Computer Software & Applications Conference : 384-388. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Functional components are program components which provide a set of tightly-coupled program's functionalities each. As functionalities embody domain knowledge, these components provide a basis for the recovery of reusable program components. In this paper, we augment general program slicing to handle the interaction among input/output statements operating on database. With the use of augmented program slicing, an approach, called functional slicing, is proposed for computing the functional components of a program. | Source Title: | Proceedings - IEEE Computer Society's International Computer Software & Applications Conference | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/99593 | ISSN: | 07306512 |
