Abstract: A reuse framework consists of an asset repository and repository tools. A repository stores assets, while tools help to manage repository and search for assets. Companies set up reuse frameworks to enforce standards and to enable sharing assets across company departments, project teams and individuals. Any reuse framework, independently of its size and purpose, must employ a mechanism to enforce company's security policies such as access control to various assets, rights to create or modify certain assets, etc. In the paper we describe a generic access control system that can be employed in a wide class of reuse frameworks.
