Title: | Two-particle correlation, multiplicity distribution, and intermittency | Authors: | Chen, L.K. Kiang, D. Chan, A.H. Chew, C.K. |
Issue Date: | 1997 | Citation: | Chen, L.K.,Kiang, D.,Chan, A.H.,Chew, C.K. (1997). Two-particle correlation, multiplicity distribution, and intermittency. Canadian Journal of Physics 75 (10) : 759-763. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The two-particle correlation completely determines the multiplicity distribution. For a negative binomial distribution, a question is raised whether true intermittency (in the limit of very short correlation length) will be revealed by k(δη → 0). Two parametrized forms, one exponential and one Gaussian, are used for the correlation function to study the data on e+e-, pp, pp̄, and nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies. | Source Title: | Canadian Journal of Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/98480 | ISSN: | 00084204 |
