Abstract: The average pairwise protein-protein interactions represented by B22 have a very important effect on the kinetics of protein aggregation in supersaturated solutions. From the relation of B22 to Dm, it is shown that when the protein-protein attractive interaction is too strong or B22 is too negative, the protein concentration range corresponding to moderate values of Dm is narrowed down or even disappears.
