Title: | STRIPPING VOLTAMMETRY OF THIN MERCURY FILMS AT THE WALL-JET ELECTRODE. | Authors: | Gunasingham, Hari Ang, K.P. Ngo, C.C. |
Issue Date: | Feb-1985 | Citation: | Gunasingham, Hari,Ang, K.P.,Ngo, C.C. (1985-02). STRIPPING VOLTAMMETRY OF THIN MERCURY FILMS AT THE WALL-JET ELECTRODE.. Analytical Chemistry 57 (2) : 505-508. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A semiempirical framework for the theory of stripping voltammetry at the wall-jet electrode is described based on a thin-layer approximation. Experimental results show that the theory holds for the irreversible stripping of very thin mercury films of the order of a monolayer. This study shows one of the advantages of the wall-jet electrode: namely, the ability to perform the preelectrolysis and stripping steps in different sample streams. | Source Title: | Analytical Chemistry | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/94892 | ISSN: | 00032700 |
