Abstract: The miscibility of poly(tetrahydropyranyl-2-methyl methacrylate) (PTHPMA) with poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (SAN) and poly(p-methylstyrene-co-acrylonitrile) (pMSAN) has been studied by differential scanning calorimetry. PTHPMA is miscible with SAN having an acrylonitrile (AN) content between 0 wt% and 31 wt%, and with pMSAN having an AN content between 5 wt% and 29 wt%. Three segmental interaction parameters, χTHPMA S, χTHPMA pMS and χTHPMA AN, were found to be -0.011, 0.019 and 0.64, respectively. © 1992.
