Abstract: The molecular structures of Ph3PAu · (S 2CC5H6NH2-2) and (4-MeOC 6H4)3PAu(S2CC5H 6NH2-2) · CH2Cl2 display the expected linear S-Au-P coordination geometries. The hydrogen-bonding functionality in the 1,1-dithiolate ligands, i.e., -NH2 groups, allows for the formation of hydrogen-bonded, i.e., N-H...S, mediated chains in the respective crystal structures.
