Abstract: Lagan?s Cave in Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak, has large deposits of sediment varying from coarse gravel to clayey mud. The sediments are stratigraphically deposited, and appear to be laterally homogenous. The cave sediments may be an indicator of the sequences of aggradation that have taken place outside the cave system. Detailed study of the sediments result in a model of cave development and sedimentation.
