Title: | Computer and experimental simulation of fluid flow through varying-constricted tubes | Authors: | Lee, T.S. Low, H.T. |
Issue Date: | 1994 | Citation: | Lee, T.S.,Low, H.T. (1994). Computer and experimental simulation of fluid flow through varying-constricted tubes. SAE Technical Papers. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.4271/940019 | Abstract: | Flow fields in the neighbourhood of constrictions in a tube were studied numerically. Flow seperation and reattachment as the flow passes through the constrictions in the tube were studied for Reynolds number to the order of 200. Constrictions with constriction spacing ratios of 1, 2, 3 and â̂ž were studied for diameter constriction ratios of 0.2 to 0.6. Experimental flow visualizations were performed for similar double constrictions. | Source Title: | SAE Technical Papers | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/74970 | DOI: | 10.4271/940019 |
