Title: | Effective velocity estimation for space-borne SAR | Authors: | Wong, Frank H. Tan, Ngee Leng Yeo, Tat Soon |
Issue Date: | 2000 | Citation: | Wong, Frank H.,Tan, Ngee Leng,Yeo, Tat Soon (2000). Effective velocity estimation for space-borne SAR. International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) 1 : 90-92. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This paper presents a direct and simple method to determine the `effective' velocity in the hyperbolic slant range equation used in processing of space-borne SAR data. The algorithm first uses the orbit state vector to generate the actual instantaneous slant range as a function of azimuth time, for a selected point on the ground. This is followed by fitting the set of slant ranges with a hyperbolic model, which is used in most SAR processing algorithms. | Source Title: | International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/72598 |
