Abstract: In this paper, we consider single-input multiple output multiple access channels (SIMO-MAC) for the cognitive radio network. We investigate the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratios (SINRs) balancing problem under the interference constraints for the primary users (PUs) and the peak transmission power constraint for the secondaiy users (SUs). It is shown that each of the interference constraints and peak power constraints can be completely decoupled, and thus the multi-constraint optimization problem can be solved through multiple single-constraint sub-problems. Theoretical analysis and simulation results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm. © 2007 IEEE.
