ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/PGC.2012.6458047 | Abstract: | In this paper, we propose a novel optical notch filtering scheme, which can be used for optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR) monitoring. OSNR monitoring for 10-Gb/s and 40-Gb/s NRZ-OOK, NRZ-DPSK and Duo-binary signals are demonstrated in VPI transmission maker 7.6. Low bandwidth photo detector adopted in the monitoring scheme would provide immunity to chromatic dispersion (CD) and low cost solution. © 2012 IEEE. | Source Title: | 2012 Photonics Global Conference, PGC 2012 | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/71278 | ISBN: | 9781467325165 | DOI: | 10.1109/PGC.2012.6458047 |
