Title: | Efficient prefilter structures for narrow-band bandpass FIR filter design | Authors: | Yang, C.Z. Lian, Y. |
Issue Date: | 2002 | Citation: | Yang, C.Z.,Lian, Y. (2002). Efficient prefilter structures for narrow-band bandpass FIR filter design. IEEE Region 10 Annual International Conference, Proceedings/TENCON 2 : 893-896. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | In this paper, two computationally efficient prefilter structures are proposed for the design of narrow-band bandpass FIR filters. The prefilters are developed from a multiplication free prototype filter. Significant savings in the number of arithmetic operations can be achieved by applying the prefilter to a modified Interpolated Finite Impulse Response (IFIR) structure. Design examples show that the proposed prefilter structures are more efficient than the IFIR approach. | Source Title: | IEEE Region 10 Annual International Conference, Proceedings/TENCON | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/70113 |
