Abstract: Structurally reconfigurable metamaterials showing terahertz frequency tunability are presented, which employ deformable microelectromechanical curved cantilevers for tuning the resonance frequency of the electric split-ring resonators. The observed tunability can be applied in tunable metamaterial devices. © 2013 IEEE.
