Abstract: We develop a decentralized neural network (NN) controller for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems with the strong interconnections. The NNs are used to approximate unknown nonlinear functions in the system which may be not linearly parameterized. We prove that this NN structure can achieve a stable controller for the large-scale systems. In a comparison with [3], we show that the proposed controller does not make any requirement upon the rate of the input gain for each subsystem as in [3].
