Abstract: In this paper, mixed potential integral equation (MPIE) for cylindrical stratified structure is used to analyze resonant length of axial oriented microstrip line mounted on multilayered dielectric coated perfect conducting (PEC) cylinder. The MPIE is solved with rooftop basis functions and with the help of fast computational form of mixed potential Green's functions. The input impendence of microstrip line mounted on one layer dielectric coated PEC cylinder is computed first and the resonant length of microstrip line mounted on double layer dielectric coated PEC cylinder is then studied.
