ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/ICUWB.2007.4380938 | Abstract: | This paper describes a novel wideband CMOS differential four-quadrant analog multiplier which is part of a integrated correlator aiming for application in Ultra-Wideband (UWB) transceiver. By combining a conventional Gilbert cell and a gate-source injection multiplier with flipped voltage followers together, wide operation bandwidth is achieved with enhanced conversion gain. Simulation results show that the multiplier can provide a bandwidth of up to 9.2GHz and a conversion gain of 19 dB. This multiplier is able to operate with a 0.2ns narrow monocycle pulse. The proposed circuit has been designed and simulated using commercial 0.18-μm CMOS process and the power consumption is 10.8mW under a 1.8V DC voltage supply. © 2007 IEEE. | Source Title: | 2007 IEEE International Conference on Ultra-Wideband, ICUWB | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/69128 | ISBN: | 1424405211 | DOI: | 10.1109/ICUWB.2007.4380938 |
