Issue Date: | 2011 | Citation: | Hu, J., Chen, Z., Teo, J.T., Yu, C. (2011). 100-km long distance FBG vibration sensor based on matching filter demodulation. Proceedings of SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering 7753 : -. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1117/12.884978 | Abstract: | A 100-km long distance fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) vibration sensor system is demonstrated by using a Raman pump laser source at 1395 nm and two segments of erbium doped fiber (EDF). The reflected spectrum of FBG has 30dB signal noise ratio. By using a wavelength matched FBG to achieve wavelength demodulation, vibration frequencies from 1Hz to 1000Hz has been effectively detected in this 100km long distance vibration sensor system. © 2011 Copyright Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). | Source Title: | Proceedings of SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/68664 | ISBN: | 9780819482464 | ISSN: | 0277786X | DOI: | 10.1117/12.884978 |
