Abstract: A novel time domain equalizer (TEQ) design is proposed for discrete wavelet multitone (DWMT) systems. The proposed scheme is tested on a number of carrier-serving-area (CSA) loops. The results show the DWMT systems using the proposed TEQ outperform their discrete multitone (DMT) counterparts by 5 to 10 dB.
