IEE Proceedings: Generation, Transmission and Distribution 145 (2) : 203-209. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | The authors present a scheme of hybrid optimisation using parallel simulated annealing and a Lagrange multiplier for optimal SVC planning. Aiming for voltage stability enhancement, the proposed scheme is posed as a multiobjective optimisation problem for maximising a fuzzy performance index, which represents the system reactive power (VAR) margin, system I2R losses and voltage depressions at critical points. To ensure robustness, the paper proposes a four-step procedure for synthesising optimal VAR reinforcement. © ICE, 1998. | Source Title: | IEE Proceedings: Generation, Transmission and Distribution | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/62559 | ISSN: | 13502360 |
