Issue Date: | 1997 | Citation: | Tian, W.S.,Wbng, W.C.,Tsao, C. (1997). Low-delay subband CELP coding for wideband speech. IEE Proceedings: Vision, Image and Signal Processing 144 (5) : 313-316. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Low-delay techniques are proposed for coding 7kHz speech using subband code-excited linear predictive coding (CELP). The use of separate and joint index codebooks is compared. Specifically, the joint-index-subband CELP (JISBC) algorithm is found to provide good quality with processing delay in the range 2.375-3.375ms at corresponding bit rates of 16- 8kbit/s. © lEE, 1997. | Source Title: | IEE Proceedings: Vision, Image and Signal Processing | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/62393 | ISSN: | 1350245X |
