International Journal of Computer Applications in Techonology: Introduction

Abstract

International journal Computer Applications in Technology has introduced a special issue to provide a forum for the dissemination of information in the state-of-the-art research related to integration of tooling development, such as design, analysis, simulation, control and management, into system planning and process verification. This special issue includes 15 papers, covering micro-nanoscale machining processes, fixture molding, machining tools, cutter design, laser sintering-based rapid tooling, tool-condition monitoring, and manufacturing process optimization. These papers presents a state-of-the-art knowledge and development of research in manufacturing tooling and provide useful information for the research and technological community of manufacturing systems and processes.
