ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.1652412 | Abstract: | A fabrication of FePt and Fe nanocomposite was done by annealing self-assembled FePt nanoparticles. The simultaneous reduction of platinum acetylacetonate and thermal decomposition of iron pentacarbonyl in the presence of oleic acid and oleyamine as stabilizers were used to prepare 5 nm FePt nanoparticles. It was shown that the annealing temperature plays a key role in determining the final products. The results indicate that Fe can be segregated from FePt by proper annealing, forming FePt and Fe nanocomposites. | Source Title: | Journal of Applied Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/51168 | ISSN: | 00218979 | DOI: | 10.1063/1.1652412 |
