Abstract: Functional rehabilitation of edentulous jaws using a CAD/CAM-guided implant protocol is commonly recommended as a definitive treatment modality. A patient with an edentulous maxilla received 7 endosseous implants using a CAD/CAM surgical template. A provisional maxillary acrylic resin fixed complete denture was connected immediately after implant placement using a combination of screw-retained and cement-retained abutments. © 2009 The Editorial Council of the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
