Abstract: In this work, the thermal conductance property of supported and suspended graphene is investigated and presented, with the focus on the thermal conductivity at 300 K. Two transfer techniques are presented, which ensure clean surface and high quality of the samples for accurate thermal study. For the investigation on supported graphene, a systematic experimental study of the thermal transport in graphene supported on SiNx using the thermal bridge configuration, with the sample thickness as the primary variable parameter affecting k near room temperature. The effects of substrate and interlayer coupling are studied. For the investigation on suspended graphene, two studies were performed. One is the thermal conductance study of suspended tri layer graphene near room temperature using the thermal bridge configuration, and its change with respect to the deposition of gold (Au) on one basal plane. The other is the thermal conductance study of suspended bi-layer graphene near room temperature using the thermal bridge configuration, and the effects of hydrogenation via atomic hydrogen and deuterium on the thermal conductance of graphene.
