Abstract: This is an account of development efforts behind a simulation game, tracing its course in competitions and use in teaching support. From a competitive game for management students to a simulated environment for learning decision technologies and management support for students in information systems, it has evolved from a batched computer program to a networked, modular, and online system with expandability into a multilingual Internet game. © 1999 Sage Publications, Inc.
