Abstract: In summary, due to insufficient accurate attitude estimation, strap down techniques are not adequate to use in pedestrians? tracking problem. Instead, DRA-II and DRA-III, which estimate stride lengths by step counting algorithm, provide precise and robust position estimations. They are not complete solutions for the indoor localization problem, as correction technologies are not included. However, these algorithms can be easily integrated into other technologies and therefore the effort has built solid foundations for further extensions.
