Abstract: A novel conjugate of a support material and an oligomer or polymer of a saccharide that is linked to the support material via urea linkages, and in which the oligomers or polymers are cross-linked via urea linkages provides a valuable stationary phase for chromatography. It is particularly valuable as a chiral stationary phase in enantiomeric separations and enantiomeric analysis.
