Abstract: We have implemented the multi-carrier linearised amplifier using Feedforward(FF) and Nested-Feedforward(NFF) technique and its performances are measured in terms of amplitude/phase matching, linearity, reduction in the third-order intermodulation products, third-order intercept point, delay mismatch and efficiency. A simulation of the FF and NFF architecture is carried out. The implementation of the feedforward systems using different classes of amplifier is also carried out. The results of the implemented systems are compared to the basic amplifier without FF-, with FF- and with NFF technique in terms of 1 dB gain compression point, third-order intercept point and third-order intermodulation products level.

The NFF technique has shown improved performance over the basic amplifier without FF and with FF technique, in terms of intermodulation products, third-order intercept point and 1 dB gain compression point. The implemented FF system using Class C amplifier, which is non-linear in its characteristic, can reduce the intermodulation products.
