Abstract: Paying particular attention on SGX-listed companies, my paper focuses on the extent of impact diversity aspects has on the likelihood of hiring a candidate. Following which, the interactions between cultural intelligence, and the extent an employee recognises his or her organisation effort to promote and respect D&I have been established by this study as statistically significant. With these two sets of knowledge, coupled with the affirmation that employees do value D&I, existing diversity training programmes are then revised to adapt a more rigorous protocol that is iterative in nature. Said protocol will be complemented with approaches to foster cultural learning and sensitivity.
