Abstract: 101 Chinese, 72 Malays and 91 south Indians, resident in Singapore, were investigated for the distribution of the Xg(a) blood group. The Xg(a) gene frequencies for Chinese, Malay and Indian subjects were 0.45, 0.54 and 0.57, respectively.
