Abstract: Os peroneum fracture is an uncommon injury. A high index of suspicion is required in order to avoid incorrect diagnosis and future complications. A radiograph of the normal foot, bone scan and MRI scan may be required to arrive at the diagnosis. Management is conservative, with a good eventual outcome. Fracture of the os peroneum maybe mistaken for an ankle sprain.
