Abstract: In this paper, we discuss the stabilization problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear polynomial systems. By employing state-dependent polynomial Lyapunov functions, a solution based on the sums of squares (SOS) theory is proposed for state feedback stabilization with or without H ∞ performance. Sufficient solvability conditions are given which can be solved by the recently developed SOS solvers. ©2007 IEEE.
