Abstract: Top-loaded dipole antenna with four parasitic elements is analyzed using the Method of Moments. The micro-genetic algorithm is employed to optimize the geometer parameters of the antenna for improving the antenna's electrical characteristic. The top-loaded antenna is with broadband and omni-directional in the azimuth plane pattern. The numerical results are presented and discussed.
