ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.80.161303 | Abstract: | We analyze the spatial distribution of the intensity of photoluminescence and its polarization in resonantly pumped semiconductor microcavities. The strong spin anisotropy of polariton-polariton interactions leads to the spontaneous formation of domains with strong circular polarization in real space under a uniformly polarized elliptical pump. These domains can serve as an experimental map of the disorder profile present in the system. © 2009 The American Physical Society. | Source Title: | Physical Review B - Condensed Matter and Materials Physics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/115233 | ISSN: | 10980121 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevB.80.161303 |
