We show that, for a large squeezing value, these states are either (almost) maximally entangled or product states depending on the value of . This peculiar behavior of entanglement is unique for infinite-dimensional Hilbert space and has consequences, e.g., for the entangling power of unitary operators in such systems. Finally, we show that, at the limit r → ∞, these states demonstrate a discontinuity attribute of entanglement. © 2010 IOP Publishing Ltd. | Source Title: | Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/115093 | ISSN: | 17518113 | DOI: | 10.1088/1751-8113/43/18/185302 |
